FRED
FRED (a.k.a. TED jr.), a brand new nonprofit organization, welcomes people from every discipline and culture who have just two things in common: a not too deep understanding of the world, and the hope of turning that basic understanding into a better future for us all. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world.
In these new talks, FRED sets out to make this change happen from the ground up instead of the top down.
Californian native Bob Duffield, has the honour of being the first ever FRED guest. Bob has won two prizes in his career, both of which are in no way related to this eye opening premiere FRED talk. Bob's mission: 'To reduce the negative impact of chemical cleaners by 15% before 2020'.
This co-founder of the O.C.G.K.C. (Orange County Go-Kart Club) goes beyond the usual doomsday rhetoric, imparting concrete steps as to how each and every one of us can contribute to this worthy goal.....
Have an idea worth spreading? FRED wants to hear from you.
