Theo Janssen wins NK FootGolf 2009 after beating Kenneth Perez in thrilling final.
The First Official Dutch FootGolf Championships.
It was a great day for sport-lovers. Especially for those who love football and take more than two days to complete the 100 meter dash. Sunday september 6th at Golf Course 'Rijk van Nijmegen'. The official introduction of a new sport we came up with: FootGolf.
Everybody was there. From top players from the Dutch Premier League to IFGA Chairman Michael Jansen, the Sepp Blatter of FootGolf. There were also more tv-cameras than there were paying spectators. But there was only one winner. A glorious winner: Theo Janssen from FC Twente. He beat his teammate, Danish international Kenneth Perez, in a thrilling final.
