Inscription on the back reads: 'Ter herinnering aan je 21ste verjaardag en aan iets dat ik niet kon goedkeuren, maar wel bewonderen. Paps' ('In remembrance of your 21st birthday, and of something I couldn't condone, but do admire. Dad'). Er....

Considering we found this painting next to the garbage a few doors down from the Nothing office on Monday, we can only assume that Mr. Ybriefs son or daughter decided the time was now right to throw away dads gift.

One man's garbage is Joris' treasure.
The resemblance to another Dutch oil painting of 'a bunch of flowers in a vase' is astounding...
